Constitution Party Platform
The Constitution Party is committed to restoring the American Republic to its Biblical and constitutional foundations, strictly limiting the federal government to its enumerated powers, and protecting the God-given rights to life, liberty, and property.
Preamble & Core Principles
We acknowledge Almighty God as the source of our rights and appeal to Him for guidance. The U.S. Constitution established a Republic rooted in Biblical principles. Government’s legitimate role is to secure unalienable rights—**life, liberty, and property**—while preserving domestic tranquility, providing for common defense, and administering equal justice. We oppose the steady expansion of federal power and support returning authority to the states and the people as intended by the Founders.
Sanctity of Life
We affirm the God-given personhood of every human being from fertilization to natural death. Abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, and suicide violate the unalienable right to life. We oppose taxpayer funding of abortion, abortifacients, and embryonic research. We support compassionate alternatives for mothers in crisis and reject federal overreach on this issue.
Limited Government & Federalism
Powers not delegated to the federal government by the Constitution are reserved to the states or the people (10th Amendment). We call for:

Returning education, welfare, domestic aid, and most criminal justice matter to the states.

Abolishing or severely restricting unconstitutional federal agencies and programs.

Repealing the 17th Amendment to restore state legislative selection of U.S. Senators.
Fiscal Responsibility
We demand an end to deficit spending, unconstitutional expenditures, and raiding of trust funds. The federal government should live within its means, reduce the national debt, and eliminate waste. We support abolishing the Department of Education, Department of Energy, and other agencies lacking constitutional authority.
National Defense & Foreign Policy
We support a strong national defense, including modern military and strategic defense systems, but oppose:

Undeclared wars and nation-building.

Placing U.S. troops under foreign command.

Entangling alliances and “New World Order” schemes.

Foreign aid that drains American resources.
America should be the friend of liberty everywhere but the guarantor only of its own. We support the original intent of the Monroe Doctrine and non-intervention in foreign conflicts absent a congressional declaration of war.
Election Integrity & Reform
We support:

Restoring the Electoral College as intended by the Founders.

Paper ballots, in-person voting on election day, photo ID, proof of citizenship, and rigorous signature verification.

Eliminating electronic voting machines vulnerable to fraud.

Repealing campaign finance laws that violate the First Amendment.
Education
Education is the responsibility of parents, not the federal government. We call for the complete elimination of the federal Department of Education, repeal of all federal education mandates, and restoration of parental rights, including school choice and homeschooling without interference.
Family & Moral Conduct
We affirm the natural family as the union of one man and one woman—the foundation of a stable society. We oppose redefinitions of marriage, government erosion of parental rights, and taxpayer funding of deviant behaviors. Public officials must demonstrate high moral character.
Second Amendment & Personal Liberty
We strongly support the right to keep and bear arms. We oppose gun control and “hate crime” laws that create unequal protection. We reject conscription (the draft) as a violation of personal liberty.
Environment, Energy & Economy
We support responsible stewardship of resources and free-market energy development (oil, gas, coal, nuclear, etc.). We reject man-made global warming alarmism used to justify greater government control. Private property rights must be protected from regulatory takings.
